  You: Thank you for always putting me before work. I love you.

　　 いつも仕事よりも私を優先してくれてありがとう。愛しているわ。

        ①Put「何かを・どこかに・ポン」。人に関しても使うことができる。

       ②Before(～の前)順序関係を表す前置詞。before work「仕事より先に(優先して)」。

       It’s difficult to put my feelings into words,

      私の気持ちを言葉にするのは難しいわ、

      so I’ll sing you a love song instead.

     だからその代りあなたに愛の歌を歌ってあげるわ。

sing以下は授与型。「～に…を歌ってあげる」と「あげる・くれる」の授与を表す。

         mayは目上が目下に行う許可。

        申し訳ありませんが、会議に遅れそうなのです。

        am going toが使われているのは、現在の状況を意識しているから。

        忘れ物をしたという状況がto以下にgoing to(進んでいる途中)。

 Because I left my bag in the train, and I have to contact the Lost-and-Found .

　　　　電車にバッグを置き忘れてしまい、遺失物係に連絡しなければならないのです。
