　　　　　僕は彼女のことはただの友だちだと思っていたんだ、でも彼女が

                  両親に会って欲しいって言うんだよ。

   You :         

     ① Oh, boy. Didn’t you realize that she was in love with you all along?

         おやおや。あなたは彼女が初めからあなたのことが好きだって

        気付いていなかったの？

       ・didn’t you～？は相手への非難のトーンを含んだ否定疑問文。

　　・in love with you～「～に恋をして」

　　・all along「初めからずっと」

      You must tell her that you’re married.

       あなたはもう既に結婚してるって言わなくちゃいけないわ。

　　tell herの内容をthat節が説明するリポート文。「説明ルール：説明は後ろに置く」

　 とにかく、後であなたのオフィスに立ち寄るわ。話しましょう。

         ・need to ～「～する必要がある」以降はtellを使った授与型。

           「あなたに何かとても重要なことを(伝える)ということ。

   　  ・something (何か)、anything (何でも)など、⁻thing /⁻one /⁻body

　　　で終わる名詞はたいへん漠然とした意味を持っており、それだけでは

　　　内容が伝わりにくい。something very importantと、後ろに説明を加える。　　

　　② So could you come to our usual café?　　　　

     　　だからいつものカフェに来てもらえるかな？

　　　 I’ll be there by six.

    　　 僕は6時までにはそこに行くから。
