僕、体重が増えちゃったんだよ。
You:
① Eating a lot of chocolate right after lunch explains that.
昼ごはん直後にチョコレートをたくさん食べていることで説明がつくわ。
・chocolateは不可算名詞、a lot ofがあっても複数形にはしない。
・explainは「説明する」、この動詞は他動型で使い、aboutをつけない。
② You need to cut down on calories.
カロリーを減らす必要があるわね。
Do some exercise and eat less snacks!
ちょっと運動して、お菓子を食べる量を少なくしなさい。
・漠然と「運動」というときexerciseは不可算名詞、someがあっても複数形
にはならない。

・初対面の挨拶にふさわしい文型。

1. ㄹ語幹用言のㄹの脱落
ㄹ語幹用言(語幹末がㄹで終わっている用言)ではㄹパッチムが落ちることがある。
既出 -세요,-네요をつけるとㄹパッチムが落ちる
① 살아요サラヨ 住んでいます ⇒ 사세요サセヨ お住まいです
② 멀어요モロヨ 遠いです ⇒ 머네요モネヨ 遠いですね
「ㅅ(s)、平音ㅂ(p)、ㄹ(l)パッチム、ㄴ(n)」で始まる語尾に着くとㄹパッチムが落ちる。
