Andrew: Oh, I wanted to see that huge robot statue over there.
ああ、僕はあそこにあるあの大きなロボットの像を見たかったんだよ。
Rina: I keep bumping into our old shogi club members by chance.
私は偶然にも、将棋クラブの元メンバーにバッタリ出会ってばかりよ。
①into ②byのイメージ
①intoは「衝突」によく使われる前置詞 bump into「バッタリ会う」
②byは「方法」 by chance「偶然に」
Andrew: Who else did you meet?
いったい他の誰に会ったの？
Rina: Tom. He finally got over his breakup with Masami.
トムよ。彼は遂にマサミとの別れから立ち直っていたわ。
Andrew: I didn’t even know they were dating each other.
僕は彼らが付き合っていたことさえ知らなかったよ。
Rina: Really? I thought everybody knew.

happyのイメージ
「幸せな」と訳されることが多いが、実は「満足」から「幸せ」まで幅が広い。
この文では「満足していない・気に入らない」

over thereは「あそこ」。overのイメージが「上に円弧(アーチ)」、
このアーチが距離を感じさせ、「そこ」ではなく「あそこ」という意味を生み出す。
① 単純な「上」、場所・年齢・速度等
・over the entrance エントランスの上に
・over the fireplace 暖炉の上に
・over 40 ４0歳を超えて
・over 75 mph 時速75マイルを超えて

over thereと同様「距離感」を感じさせる。クリスの場所からこちらまで
橋が架かるような意識。hand over(手渡す・譲渡する)等。
③ 「上に円弧(アーチ)」の動きを感じさせる

障害物を乗り越えていく動き
・look over the report リポートにざっと目を通す
視線が上を通過する

be動詞とoverを組み合わせれば「乗り越えた状態」を表す。
