You :
①You’d better have your doctor take a look at it now.
すぐにかかりつけのお医者さんに診てもらったほうがいいですよ。
・take a look at 「目を向ける→調べる・検査する・診てもらう」
・had better ～ 「～したほうがいい(そうしなければ困ったことになる)」
という切迫感のある助動詞類。
・have以降は目的語説明型。「your doctorが take a look at itする
という状況をhaveする」。
②I’ll look after your dog, so don’t worry. I’ll call a taxi for you.
犬のお世話は私がしますから、大丈夫。タクシーを呼びますね。
・look afterは「世話をする」
・call a taxiは「タクシーを呼ぶ」

・watchは動画・番組を「見る」にピッタリ、注視が感じられる。
・saw以降は目的語説明型。「him= walking arm in arm with a cute girl
behind the reporterしているところを見た」。

→ I’ll have the fish and chips.
2. Okey dokey. On the side, we have two choices… pickled onions
or mushy peas. Which would you like?
→ Both sound good!... I’ve never had mushy peas before.
So I’ll have pickled onions!
3. Well, we have the best mushy peas in Liverpool…Here…Have a taste!
How do you like the mushy peas?
→ Hmmm… These mushy peas are really good! I usually don’t like peas but I DO like this dish. It has mint and lemon in it.
I’ll have this on the side for sure.
4. OK! What kind of sauce would you like? Gravy? Tartar sauce?
Or our special mushroom sauce?
→ I’ll have the special mushroom sauce.
5. I’m sorry,,, Could you speak up? What kind of sauce would you like?
→ Oh, I said I the special mushroom sauce.
6. Right! Oh, and Liverpool just scored a goal. Nice one. So you get
one free drink. Would you like a lemonade or beer?
→ I’ll have a Liverpool lemonade.
