意外・心外・同意を求める。この文では同意。
リポート文
文の形はリポート文、are glad(うれしい)の内容を、後ろに置いた節が
説明する「説明ルール」の典型的な形。
I’m so happy you came. あなたが来てくれて、私は本当にうれしい。
are so happyの内容をyou cameが説明している。
Barbara: Yes, you gave me your card at that bar,
ええ、あなたがお店の名刺をあのバーで私にくれたのよね。
授与型
目的語を2つ並べ、「~に」「…を」give(与える)する、語順は変えられない。
Deepak: Right, and then you called to order takeout from here.
そうだね、そして君がお持ち帰りの注文を電話してくれた。
Barbara: But then I got the idea to actually eat here.
でもあの時私は、実際にはここで食べようと閃いたのよ。

Feel English Key Sentence
I got the idea to actually eat here.
getは「(動いて)手に入れる」という動詞。この文ではアイデアが頭に「動いて」飛び込んでくる様子を表している。
①getできるのは物に限らない。~がやってきて手に入るという動きが感じられる。
get a letter / a birthday card / the chance
手紙を / バースデーカードを / チャンスを 手に入れる
get an A in English 英語でAを取る
get a lesson レッスンを受ける
get the money そのお金を稼ぐ
②get a ticket チケットを買う
